Fire at the Heartland Hotel

Firefighters were called to put out a blaze at Queenstown’s
Heartland Hotel.

Fire and Emergency spokesperson Andrew Norris said the fire
started in the kitchen before spreading to the roof and
ceiling.

Firefighters arrived at the scene at approximately 8pm and
guests were let back in at 9.30pm.

Police and St. John were called to the hotel, however, nobody
was injured.
